These are my pieces in the show. The aske was what does Christmas holidays mean to you? Well, I love the outdoors, animals, nature and the Reindeer. Probably one of my all-time fav Christmas Moves is with Will Ferrell 'Elf'. My paintings were on the theme of Reindeer and I had friends name them. Little did they know there are great meanings to the names.
'Yvonne...quietly on the move' Yvonne means Yew and archer as the wood was used for the bow. It also means courageous. I painted a Mama deer moving through the night quietly to gather food for her babies and not be noticed. Her face is both of alertness and focus.

'Adler believes' Adler means Eagle and yes Adler believes he can fly just like an Egale.
The baby Reindeer that is full of curiosity and ambition. He loves to love and wants to be loved!

'Chester, Asher & Owen resting up' Well Chester meaning camp of soldiers, Asher meaning happiness and Owen meaning young worrier. Well, these three are helping drive the sleigh through the stormy wintery conditions. They need to be strong and stay positive!

'Silent observer above the clouds' Well simply all my years of heading up the mountain this time of year and viewing the city below, just imaging the quiet Reindeer observing all of us below.
