The inspiration for this painting is part of my 'Respect our Neighbours' series about the paradox of how us humans are running in the trails for fun, adventure and health. This is fabulous, however we are often taking our fabulous dogs and we are running with them off leash. I want to bring awareness that we are in the bears and other wild lifes backyard. We need to be respectful. The bear is more afraid of us then we are of them. What is happening is they are being pushed out and running on the road for different reasons...to save their lives and their families. We just need to be respectful so that we can both enjoy our beautiful surroundings.
When you look into this piece you will see images of people running the trails along with a fabulous dog. You will also see people running on the road. In fact the end of a road race North Van Run at the end of the pier.
Just another message of how we can coexist with these beautiful animals.

Shipping Policy
Care has been put into the artwork you purchased and we want to make sure when shipped it is cared for. Good News for Canadians, if shipping within Canada it is free! All packages are shipped via FedEx or Canada Post and will be sent out as soon as possible. You will receive an email with shipping details after your package has been shipped. Sorry to my beautiful American friends and collectors shipping and taxes will be added to the cost at this difficult time. (e.g. duty tax at the border) after the package has been shipped.
As per FedEx and Canada Post policy, a package is considered lost after 6 weeks. If the package is not located during this period, you will receive a full refund.
If you prefer your item be shipped via a private courier, please complete your purchase and then email TerriConnelly@paintingsbytewc.com with your preferred shipper. All incremental costs will be incurred by the purchaser.

Return Policy
All artwork is non-refundable except in the case of damage incurred during shipping. If your artwork arrives damaged, please email tewc25@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving your package. Please keep all packaging as photos may be requested.
