Key characteristics of the Reed: Integrity, Truth and Honor
The Reed will dig deep to find the true meaning of things. People will confide in the Reed as they know that the Reed can keep a screte. They like a good story!
Specifically this Reed was from one of my photos taken at Ambleside soccer fields. The bursts of the cattails gave me the impression that the Reed was bursting with information as it peeled back the layers to find the truth of the matter. The Reeds softly swaying from the whispers of the wind.
The inspiration to paint trees and create a series came from my passion for nature and feeling that we are all connected. I was researching specific trees to paint and discovered the Druid Calendar and the 13 trees. My roots are celtic and felt this was meant to be. Each tree painting is created with my pallet of acrylic paint, brush, and acrylic pen using bold strokes to give the texture and movement conveying the unique characteristics of the specific tree.

Care has been put into the artwork you purchased and we want to make sure when shipped it is cared for. Good News for Canadians, if shipping within Canada it is free! All packages are shipped via FedEx or Canada Post and will be sent out as soon as possible. You will receive an email with shipping details after your package has been shipped. Sorry to my beautiful American friends and collectors shipping and taxes will be added to the cost at this difficult time. (e.g. duty tax at the border) after the package has been shipped.
As per FedEx and Canada Post policy, a package is considered lost after 6 weeks. If the package is not located during this period, you will receive a full refund.
If you prefer your item be shipped via a private courier, please complete your purchase and then email TerriConnelly@paintingsbytewc.com with your preferred shipper. All incremental costs will be incurred by the purchaser.

Return Policy
All artwork is non-refundable except in the case of damage incurred during shipping. If your artwork arrives damaged, please email tewc25@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving your package. Please keep all packaging as photos may be requested.
