36 x 24 x 1.5" Acrylic mixed medium on Gallery Wrapped Canvas-Archival and Varnished
Inspired by my love for dance; the drama created with the movements and the abruptness and then flow that resembles the relationship between two lovers. The emotion accentuated by the costumes. The history of the Tango is it was originated but not accepted in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the 19th century by immigrants from European countries, Cuba and South America who were working class and slaves. However, in the 20th century the Tango was embraced internationally, especially in Paris, and then was it accepted at home.
