'Bearly making it'

'Bearly making it'

C$1,827.00Price

Original mixed medium Acrylic/collage on 30h x 40w x 1.5d " gallery wrapped canvas.

The inspiration for this painting is part of my 'Respect our Neighbours' series.  While we know that we have industrialists that are very valuable to our economy there needs to be a pause and thoughtfulness about how one might give to charity but then on the other had make decisions that impact negatively on our enviornment.  Many do not know that the Oraca Whale use to spawn in the Deep Cove waters but as the ship building increased the Oracas moved away.  We need to stop and think about what we are putting or taking out of our land, ocean, streams etc.  There are so many that have worked so hard all their lives and our now either on the edge of homeless or already there. Just a message of being mindful of how we say one thing and do another...the impacts on our environment.

When you look into this piece you will see images of bears on this beautiful yatch.  You will see the oraca whales that once came up the Burrard Inlet and into Deep Cove.

We are so fortunate to live in this beautiful place on earth and we have to make sure that all that want to live, work and do business here understand the value of this enviornment to our ecosystem.
