People under the Birch Tree tend to be highly driven and always want to expand their knowledge and set new horizons. They are strong willing to put in what it takes to reach more. They lead others in their path and brighten a room with their smile.
Specifically for this painting I wanted to demonstrate the strenght and reaching of the Birch along with others that it is leading. The brilliance of the white against the sky and earth making for a great smile.
The inspiration to paint trees and create a series came from my passion for nature and feeling that we are all connected. I was researching specific trees to paint and discovered the Druid Calendar and the 13 trees. My roots are celtic and felt this was meant to be. Each tree painting is created with my pallet of acrylic paint, brush, and acrylic pen using bold strokes to give the texture and movement conveying the unique characteristics of the specific tree.

Care has been put into the artwork you purchased and we want to make sure when shipped it is cared for. Good News for Canadians, if shipping within Canada it is free! All packages are shipped via FedEx or Canada Post and will be sent out as soon as possible. You will receive an email with shipping details after your package has been shipped. Sorry to my beautiful American friends and collectors shipping and taxes will be added to the cost at this difficult time. (e.g. duty tax at the border) after the package has been shipped.
As per FedEx and Canada Post policy, a package is considered lost after 6 weeks. If the package is not located during this period, you will receive a full refund.
If you prefer your item be shipped via a private courier, please complete your purchase and then email TerriConnelly@paintingsbytewc.com with your preferred shipper. All incremental costs will be incurred by the purchaser.

Return Policy
All artwork is non-refundable except in the case of damage incurred during shipping. If your artwork arrives damaged, please email tewc25@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving your package. Please keep all packaging as photos may be requested.
