The Rowan are sharp visionaries and set themselves high goals.  Are very passionate with high energy that gives them inspiration in their path through life.  Ideas are unique with great imagination and often feel like others do not understand them. Some may be intimidated by their external strength and high capcity to influence circumstances and individuals with their quick thinking. However; internally they are kind, patient and loving.  People find themselves drawn to the Rowan and their quiet dynamism.
 
My impressionistic interpretation of the Rowan in this painting was to show their vivid imagination of display of colour, the path at their roots and the energy to pursue their journey towards goals.
 
The inspiration to paint trees and create a series came from my passion for nature and feeling that we are all connected.  I was researching specific trees to paint and discovered the Druid Calendar and the 13 trees. My roots are celtic and felt this was meant to be.  Each tree painting is created with my pallet of acrylic paint, brush, and acrylic pen using bold strokes to give the texture and movement conveying the unique characteristics of the specific tree.

  • Shipping Policy

    Care has been put into the painting you purchased and we want to make sure when shipped it is cared for.  Shipping cost will be added to the cost of the painting at time of purchase.  All packages are shipped via Canada Post and will be sent out as soon as possible.  You will receive an email with shipping details after your package has been shipped.  I am not responsible for any additional charges (e.g. duty tax at the border) after the package has been shipped.

    As per Canada Post policy, a package is considered lost after 6 weeks. If the package is not located during this period, you will receive a full refund.

    If you perfer your item be shipped via a private courier, please complete your purchase and then email tewc25@gmail.com with your preferred shipper.  All incremental costs will be incurred by the purchaser.

  • Return Policy

    All artwork is non-refundable except in the case of damage incurred during shipping.  If your artwork arrives damaged, please email tewc25@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving your package.  Please keep all packaging as photos may be requested.
